How to enrol

Enrolments and applications

You can enrol for any course (accredited or short course) at Health Institute Australasia via our online application form.

For enrolment in accredited Yoga and Ayurveda courses:

Terms and conditions

Please make sure you read the terms and conditions before enrolling or applying for a course. The terms and conditions are part of the online enrolment process and also can be found under the “Enrol” menu:-

Payment methods

  • We accept EFTPOS, MasterCard and Visa cards via our secure online PayPal portal.
  • If you are paying in person at the front counter, we do not accept Cheques, Diners or American Express cards.

Short course enrolment process

  • After completing your online enrolment for a short course, you will be directed to PayPal for the processing of your course fee; this payment serves as your booking confirmation.
  • You will receive an email copy of your enrolment showing the course and fee paid. You will need to check this to ensure all details, including your name, are correct.
  • Approximately one week prior to the scheduled course commencement, you will receive further communication from Health Institute Australasia. This will usually be to confirm course details such as a brief introduction, materials provided and items you need to bring along to class.

Accredited course application process (domestic students)

For Government accredited, Centrelink and CRICOS approved courses, once your application and payment of $250 and any other proof is submitted,  you will be issued a ‘Letter of Offer’ within 24-48 hours from Health Institute Australasia that doubles as your booking confirmation. You will need to check this thoroughly to ensure all details are correct, including your name as it will appear on your certificate.

Once you have read the Letter of Offer please return the signed and dated document to Health Institute Australasia along with your initial course payment as outlined in your letter of offer.

Approximately one week prior to the scheduled course commencement, you will receive further communication from Health Institute Australasia. This will usually be to confirm course details such as a brief introduction, materials provided and items you need to bring along to class.

Accredited course application process (international students)

For Government accredited, CRICOS approved courses, once your application and payment of AUD$250 and any other proof is submitted e.g. English certificate, you will be issued a ‘Letter of Offer’ within 24-48 hours from the Health Institute Australasia that doubles as your booking confirmation. You will need to check this thoroughly to ensure all details are correct, including your name as it will appear on your certificate. Please note that a ‘Letter of Offer’ is not a ‘CoE’ (Confirmation of Enrolment) for international student visas.

Once you have read the Letter of Offer please return the signed and dated document to Health Institute Australasia. This document is required for the processing of your student visa.

You will be required to pay your initial course deposit and Overseas Health Cover with the Letter of Offer. If you’re using an education agent, they might prefer to arrange your medical insurance, however, your course deposit is essential to receive a CoE.

You can apply for a student visa after you receive your electronic Confirmation of Enrolment ‘CoE’.

Recognition of prior learning

If you have previous knowledge and skills acquired through education and training you might be able to obtain credits for some of our courses. Please ensure that your units/courses are from a Government Accredited Registered Training Organisation prior to applying for RPL (recognition of prior learning).  Please call Health Institute Australasia on +61 5532 2001 to discuss your situation.
